What affiliate marketing programs work best? It's one of those questions... a bit like "How long is a piece of string?".

What happened next gave me a much better perspective on these programs.

Next step... put their link in other appropriate places on the site... and yep - it generated even more income!

Last step - to tightly integrate their single affiliate link into the whole site to maximise the return. Now, their text link appears as one of the main site navigation links on over 200 pages, as well as including a variety of banners and button ads in select places.

The end result? Pay per click advertising for just this one merchant is earning me a reasonable amount of $200 a month!

The catch? They only pay me when I get to $500... but that means I get paid every couple of months or so... and I'm pretty happy with that.
